CommentsI just saw that there's an Italian translation of your comic circulating around the internet and since I'm working with a few other people on a new German Halo forum who'll launch soon (it's supposed to be the biggest of it's kind in the German speaking region, since the old one has some problems), we wanted to ask you if you'd allow us to translate your comic to German and present it there as a gimmick for the German Halo fans who can't understand English that good (with direct link to your gallery of course!). I'd personally take care of that task to make sure that it'll be properly translated and be just as good as the original comic who turned out fantastic by the way!
Just wanted to know if you'd be ok with a German translation instead of just having to find an "illegal" translation around the internet one day. Well I've always been okay with people translating the work, so I don't think there's really any 'illegal' versions floating around. I'm not multi-lingual, so I can't really actually approve of any of the translations being done. That said, I do find it neat that people are doing it and it's getting out there to more people.
So you're free to do as you like. The back cover already has links to Leviathan.Bungie.Org and Levihoffmeier.Com so that's the links I like people to go to. Very cool comic. The story and the art were so perfect together. I love it.
-- Payback's a bitch, and so am I. --- Tex Have you thought of showing this to the people at 343?
-- Don't believe all you hear or see, or else you'll lose sight of reality. I have shown it to a number of people at 343i and Bungie. Halo Waypoint is currently using it as a sort of 'default' for its Weekly Weekend Webcomic feature.
Ever thought of making a comic explaining how Johnson got off the first Halo?
-- Don't believe all you hear or see, or else you'll lose sight of reality. Those details are in Halo: First Strike, so no, not really. Another comic I've been thinking about would cover the weeks between Halo 2 (and ODST) and the beginning of Halo 3, showing how Arbiter, Miranda, and Johnson got to Earth from Delta Halo and lots of other fun stuff.
Forget the last comment. They already explained that. Better yet, make a webcomic that explains the containment breach on Delta Halo that took place 200 years prior to Halo 2.
-- Don't believe all you hear or see, or else you'll lose sight of reality. t'hat's great job!
